How Can You Track Your Product in Our Warehouse?

Trusting a third-party logistics (3PL) partner with your inventory requires confidence that your products are being handled with care and transparency. At Journey, we take this responsibility seriously. Our goal is to provide you with full visibility into your inventory while ensuring its safety and efficient handling.

1. Advance Notice & Preparedness

When we receive an advance notice of incoming shipments, we immediately log them into our Warehouse Management System (WMS) with their expected arrival date. This information is shared with our warehouse team and forklift drivers, ensuring they are ready to receive and process your goods as soon as they arrive.

2. Same-Day Shipment Notifications

We keep you informed every step of the way:
- **Inbound Shipments** – You will receive same-day notifications when we receive a shipment on your behalf.
- **Outbound Shipments** – You will also be notified when your products leave our facility, keeping you updated on every movement.

3. Smart Storage with 5S Principles

We optimize storage locations based on the frequency of inbound and outbound shipments, handling needs, and overall organization.
- High-frequency shipments are stored closer to our main docks for quick access.
- Long-term storage items are placed further back until needed.
This reduces unnecessary movement, minimizing the risk of damage while improving efficiency. Even with skilled forklift drivers, every movement poses a risk—so we ensure your inventory is moved only when necessary.

4. Shipment Photos for Transparency

We document your shipments at every key stage:
- **Arrival** – Photos are taken when goods enter our facility.
- **Storage** – We capture images of items in their designated storage locations.
- **Outbound** – Before being loaded onto trucks, products are photographed again.

5. Immediate Damage Notifications & Claims Processing

If we receive a damaged shipment, we take immediate action:
- A **claims report** is filled out before unloading.
- **High-visibility labels** are placed near the damaged area.
- The receiving forklift driver or operations manager **signs and dates** the documentation.
- **Photos are sent to you immediately** for full transparency.
- All records are stored in your customer file and attached to the Proof of Delivery for reference.
This ensures you have the necessary documentation to support claims with carriers or suppliers as quickly as possible.

6. Discrepancy Verification Before Shipping

If there is **any discrepancy** in paperwork—whether it’s the **expected quantity, destination, or driver documentation**—we verify everything **before anything leaves the warehouse.**
- If a driver arrives with incorrect paperwork, we confirm details before allowing the shipment to proceed.
- If the shipment details don't match what we were expecting, we pause the process and resolve the issue before moving forward.
- Our team actively communicates with customers to clarify discrepancies and ensure accuracy in every transaction.

7. Video Surveillance for Added Security

Our facility is equipped with **full video surveillance**, covering both the interior and exterior. These recordings are stored for years, providing an added layer of transparency.
- If any concerns arise about inventory handling, we can review video footage to verify events.
- For customers who are overseas or unable to visit in person, we can provide video confirmation of inventory status upon request.

8. Visitor & Driver Management System

To maintain security and accountability, we log **every visitor, truck driver, and personnel** entering and exiting the warehouse.
- Our **Visitor Management System** ensures we always know who is in our facility.
- If needed, we can retrieve records of past visits to resolve any concerns.
- We have the ability to **flag drivers** who fail to meet quality or safety standards, or those who do not align with our customers' values or our own.

9. Investment in Racking & Storage Solutions

We continuously invest in **racking systems** to:
- Reduce excessive handling.
- Minimize stacking, preventing unnecessary pressure or damage.
- Improve organization for easier and safer inventory access.

10. Regular & Random Inventory Counts

To ensure accuracy, we conduct:
- **Monthly full inventory counts**
- **Random spot checks** for additional verification
Customers who request inventory reports receive them monthly, helping you stay informed about stock levels and potential discrepancies.

11. 24/7 Access to Your Inventory

Every customer receives login credentials to our **Inventory Management System (IMS)**, allowing you to:
- View real-time inventory levels.
- Track order status and stock movements.
- Place orders directly through the system instead of relying on email requests.

Our Commitment to Continuous Improvement

We are always looking for new ways to **enhance security, visibility, and efficiency** within our supply chain. When you trust Journey with your inventory, you gain more than just a storage provider—you gain a partner dedicated to protecting and optimizing your logistics.
